The legislative session ends and the ad hoc committee dissolves, having rarely met and failing to pass a bill. However, at the session's final meeting, a new and permanent SGA committee on sexual misconduct prevention is officially established.

The SGA passes a resolution to endorse a $34 annual student fee to help fund the Title IX Office, a proposal made possible by the work of new SGA Vice President of Student Affairs AJ Pruitt and the Committe on Sexual Misconduct Prevention, led by chairwoman Taylor Aguiar.

The SGA announces it will withdraw its Title IX fee proposal from university consideration, the week after the administration announced it would commit funding for six new positions related to victim care and after President Loh told SGA executives he would not sign the fee proposal if it reached his desk.
